100% Foreign Ownership In 122 Business Sectors In UAE

The cabinet meeting under Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE approved 122 categories of business sector to have 100% ownership  under FDI (Foreign Development Investment Law)

 

The Decision will help investors with an opportunity to acquire various shares in economic activities in UAE.

The key list of sectors are Agricuture, Manufacturing, Transport & storage. Which will allow investors to own projects on e-commerce, supply chains logistics and cold storage of pharma products

Shaikh Mohammad tweeted: “Local governments will identify the percentage of ownership in each activity according to their circumstances … Our goal is to stimulate, activate and facilitate businesses… We want to open and expand new economic sectors .. We want to attract new investors and new talents and enhance the global competitiveness of our national economy”.
